Y’all, last week we got to spend time with Molly, the Director of Sales at the unparalleled and incomparable wedding venue, The Bradford, in New Hill, North Carolina . We wanted to share our experience with you. We can’t thank Molly and The Bradford enough for taking the time to speak with us.

When you are standing on the grounds of The Bradford you are transported to what feels like a remote European countryside. Every portion of this location has been tailor made for brides, this guarantees that you’ll fall in love with The Bradford’s approachable elegance.

This venue is a photographers dream. Much different that many other venues, The Bradford gives couples the ability to have so many different photo locations, for their wedding photos. Each of these locations are all more beautiful than the next, whether for the ceremony, bridal party portraits, or for your husband and wife photos. Take it from us, when deciding on a venue, The Bradford will give you the most elegant backdrop for your wedding photography.

We sat down with Molly and asked her some of the questions that we know our brides would want to know when booking a venue. Check out our interview with her below.

What makes your venue different?

The option to stay overnight. With up room for up to 16 guests, you and your entire bridal party would have room to stay and celebrate together.

What kind of couples dream of getting married at The Bradford?

Fun couples, those that are excited about spending the day with their day together and with their families and everyone that is important to them. They want a place that is going to fit this special occasion that is going on  in their lives and be a place that they just remember forever.

What are the options for the ceremony site?

The Bradford has multiple ceremony locations for you to choose from. The front garden that can have the front of The Bradford nestled in behind as your ceremony backdrop. The side garden for more intimate celebrations. The terrace, between the house and the ballroom, under marquee lights and complimented by the stone pavers and permanent green grass.  The back field, perfect for the largest celebrations and even the highest guest count. As well as the ballroom if there is inclement weather or if you just decide to choose it.

Do you host multiple events on the same day?

No, we only have one event per day. Couples are able to book our rooms and stay the night before, after, or both if they choose.

What is your inclement weather contingency plan?

Moving the ceremony into the ballrooms in the case of rain or inclement weather. They are capable of handling the guest count from any of our ceremony sites.

Does you venue provide planning and coordinator services?

We don’t provide planning or coordinating services, but we do have a vendor list of required planners and coordinators that have worked the space before and understand the best options and how to run your wedding day efficiently at The Bradford.

Are there any decorating restrictions?

Just the industry standards, no nails for hanging décor. No glitter or confetti.

Do you have a kitchen facility?

For the wedding day there isn’t a functioning kitchen. There is a caterer’s kitchen that your caterer will utilize in preparing your meals and service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Couples are capable of changing their date one time, if they must reschedule.

What is the process to book your venue?

First book a tour, to see the venue for yourself and make sure this is where you long to remember your wedding day. Then we will create a client portal for your agreement. Fifty percent deposit is required to book your date. Twenty-five percent is due six months before your date, and the remaining balance is due three months before.

Are pets allowed?

YES! We have puppies hanging out in the bridal suite often with brides before the wedding day.

Do you still have dates available for 2021?

Yes! Mainly weekdays. The majority of the weekends have been fully booked. We are booking into 2022 now.

Is there anything more you’d like a potential bride to know?

They are welcome here, we love hosting all kinds of different couples. We have such a unique venue. You will come to The Bradford, celebrate at The Bradford, and remember The Bradford.
