Cassie & David’s Engagements

December 9, 2019

I must tell y’all this. Kala and I received the BEST compliment before we ever took a photo of Cassie and David. Let me tell recite what happened a few months back. In August, at an open house inside the gorgeous Wakefield Barn in Wake Forrest, NC Cassie and David talked to us as they entered, we had spoken earlier this year. After chatting for a moment they went through the rest of the expo and interacted with other vendors and photographers. Before they left they came back to us wanting to book! Then Cassie’s mom gave us the best compliment ever. “We booked you guys because you feel like family.” Ah hits you right in the heart. This means so much to us because we think of all our couples and their families as a part of our family. We spend so much time with you on such a special day, by the end we feel like family.

Cassie and David met us at Eno River State Park in Durham. We had never been here but wow is it beautiful. A beautiful stream that runs through the middle of the park. We made our way down the beaten path towards the Cox Mountain Trail. All along the way stopping when the light looked fabulous and placed these two in front of the camera. Meeting in California these two are transplants to the Raleigh area.

When we arrived at the footbridge, it is a single walking lane cable suspension bridge. Look how gorgeous these photos look. It was amazing. I am not sure what she was expecting, but the amount that this cable bridge moved was too much for Kala. She stood off the side of the bridge and shot until we had to walk across.

You can tell that these two love each other, it shines through their photos. They will be getting married at The Wakefield Barn, on November 8th 2020. We are so happy to share this time with them, and we are looking forward to being with them during their wedding day.
