Modern Romance at Chandelier

August 10, 2020

When Janna contacted us for this styled shoot at The Chandelier, we knew it was going to be beautiful. The Chandelier is amazingly gorgeous with all of its natural light, high ceilings, and elegant style. The amazing owners, Natasha and John Ford, have created a staple wedding venue in Cary, NC. Janna with Janna Simone Weddings and Events laid out her vision of a romantic shoot with a modern look and minimal style.

Kala and I couldn’t be more excited! When we arrived on the day of the shoot, Andrea of ADel Beaute was finishing hair and makeup on our beautiful bride model Autumn. Andera applied simple and minimal makeup that flattered the already stunning features of Autumn’s lovely face. Isn’t she flawless!?

In the ceremony area Stephanie with Florescence Floral and Event Design was working diligently designing and bringing to life the gold arbor arch, with the evening’s colors of dusty roses, whites, greenery, and gold accents. Stephanie, Janna, and Jasmine throughout their collaborative decorations utilized the dusty rose hues to represent romance. This contrasted perfectly against the crisp whites giving the day a clean appearance.

As the finishing touches on the reception hall were placed, the acrylic Phoenix chairs from the ceremony design paired elegantly with the ghost chairs from CE Rentals displayed at the Bride & Groom’s table. Throughout the tablescape, vellum place cards marked the names of the guests, ornamented with fresh greenery adding a touch of minimalism to the placings.

The most graceful and classic invitation suite was created by Dogwood Gatherings and Events. A little photographer secret, we love invitation suites! They photograph so wonderfully and create beautiful pages in a couples wedding album.

Sugar Euphoria arrived and owner Randi delivered a beautifully designed and decorated three tier single color cake. The dusty rose complimented the rest of the scene perfectly. The architectural design elements and stylist qualities were gorgeous.

Now was time for our groom model Ervin to begin getting ready. This guy wears a suit. I do not mean he just puts one on, I’m saying that he when the last button is done, he is wearing that suit.

With both of our models ready, we start at the ceremony area. Facing each other and dressed to perfection for their day, the display of love for each other is obvious and stunning. Autumn donning a sweetheart neckline dress made the air around them feel even more romantic. Ervin and Autumn are engaged to be married this fall, and this was a fun sneak peek into their upcoming day. They complemented each other so perfectly. Both so natural and entirely comfortable together in front of the cameras.

Autumn grasping a cascading bouquet with roses and peonies to help represent an upcoming happy marriage, these two walked through the outside cocktail patio with all the love radiating from them. True happiness. You could not tell that this was not their wedding day celebration. They smiled and laughed as all the vendors commented on how lovely they looked. I mean, can you blame us!?

One of our favorite vendors to work with are quality videographers. They are the only vendor that we literally work shoulder to shoulder with all day. Jamaal with Good People Visuals blew away expectations. He came in super professional and his work speaks for itself. His artistic ability and creative approach may be unmatched in the Triangle. We absolutely loved collaborating with him on this project. Check out the beautiful video he created below.

Kala and I consider ourselves lucky to be apart of such a wonderful community of vendors who are always creative, original, and fresh. This Modern Romance Styled Shoot was inspired by a young couple who love each other fearlessly. They are a true representation to love without limits!
